Gen 5 guide rod?

Most G19 one-piece guide rods and springs will work fine in a gen5 19.  Usually they're just gen3 rods with a gen4 adapter ring.  But since you're tuning for 30 Luger, I'd suggest switching to Wolff round-wire springs.  Their G19 springs go from 14#-22# in 1# increments, unlike ISMI's 13#, 15#, and 17# springs.  Round wire springs are pretty forgiving if you need to clip coils since only one end is closed.  If you do want to go with round-wire springs, I suggest the Jager gen4 "heavy" guide rod.  Its larger .270" diameter is a better fit with Wolff springs since they have a larger inner diameter.  You can just run it without the front capture screw until you get your springs dialed in.  If you need a 13# round-wire spring,  Sprinco makes one for the G19.

Also, if you wind up needing a crazy light spring, the fatter round-wire guide rods work with Wolff's 1911 Commander length springs which go as low as 7#.  You may just need to clip a coil or two off the end to prevent coil bind.
