tony_gong
hi guys running the new shadow 2 in factory stock form and was wondering if anyone knows the spring weight on the standard factory recoil spring? i would like to go a few numbers lighter but i have no idea what the factory spring is? im thinking a 12lb spring would be a good start? currently using 124grn syntech factory ammo
Denato1
guy a spring kit from Cajun gun works and get a hammer spring as well. I run a 11.5lb hammer spring and a 10lb recoil spring in my shadow 2. some like the 11lb spring.
Demp223
Best way to dial in “your pistol and ammo” combo is to follow this guide then fine tune for you slide cycle action you like best. https://cajungunworks.com/how-to-select-the-proper-recoil-spring/

George16
When I tried the 124 Gr factory syntech ammo with my shadow 2, the 10 # spring gets it back on target faster compared to the 11# spring I tried. I also like the recoil impulse with the 10# spring compared to the 11#. Im also using an 11.5# main spring if that matters.
MRBerg
same here in my Shadow 2 11.5 hammer spring and 10 pound recoil spring I tried a 12 and 11 pound 10 worked the best for me I did put the light firing pin spring and longer firing pin thing will eat anything and spit it out

Using the 8.5# hammer spring requires the use of Federal primers and extended firing pin.
