I hate it when you show up to a match the forecast says no rain and it pours .

Depending on how far I've driven, I have turned back and gone home.

Even better when it's cold and blustery.

 

(That was the weather at Frostproof a dozen years ago,

when I shot my first Open Major shoot.

 

Froze, got wet, but it was still fun.

Whether the weather will get better, wetter or wither my nethers, neither cause my leathers to slither off their tethers or gather other rather unpleasantly after.

That said, I'ma go sit by the fire and drink my fresh batch of apple pie.

I have to laugh when the guys ask me for a match forecast.  I say it's going to rain a lot and be muddy.  They go anyway and it's cancelled or too unsafe to move about.  Then they come home and tear into me like it's my fault!  I love being a meteorologist!!
