I’m just learning this gun (Shadow 1) coming over from Glock 34. Thanks and I apologize if this has been covered...I did a search but didn’t see anything. If shooting a good pistol, like Shadow 2 or even SP01 no backup pistol is required. I always change out my slide stop for big matches, and check all my equipment before attending the match. I shoot the Czechmate 9mm major, or sometimes SPO1 and or Shadow 2 fiber optic. Clean your pistol on a regular basis, practice often, and your pistol will function.
