mwx40x40
Anyone have experience dispatching Armadillos with 22? How tough is shell ? Will 22 short get the job done? They are digging up my backyard and want to use 22 shorts for low noise.
Hi-Power Jack
.22 shorts work very well on young raccoons, and Yes, they are Very Quiet. I can't imagine an armadillo's shell is very tough - I know a turtle's shell is not.
RJH
Their shells are pretty soft, 22 will work. However you could catch them and relocate, I have moved a few and it is pretty fun. They don't see real well and are not too fast so catching them, while challenging, is not super difficult
