AzDak
Little frustrated with snowshooze at the moment. His primer stop is a cool as hell invention. It's premise is awesome an works really well.. about 99% of the time. I'm getting a few times each batch where the primer arm pops it into the off position and I end up with a shell plate full of N320. I messaged him that the detent wasn't holding it in consistently. He mentioned he'd changed to a dual detent setup. (I asked when, as I'd just bought mine a few days before.) He went dark. No replies to three messages. So.. if you go down this route, I'd make sure he's shipping you the updated version.
AzDak
Ok, need to edit my previous post but can't. He's got the upgraded part on the way. Just needed more patience. Please disregard my previous post.
RePete
One of the first mods I did was to change out the case ejector tab. When loading 38 Special the rim would jam under the tab because the loaded case was leaning. This was weeks after I got the press. Circa 2006. Youngeyes
I got tired of the spent primers flying all over the floor on my 550. I used a plumbing coupling and cut a notch in it. Works very well. https://www.lowes.com/pd/Fernco-2-in-x-2-in-x-2-1-2-in-dia-Coupling-PVC-Fitting/1000075331?cm_mmc=shp-_-c-_-prd-_-rpe-_-google-_-lia-_-142-_-plumbingconnectionsandsupport-_-1000075331-_-0&store_code=2544&placeholder=null&gclid=Cj0KCQjw17n1BRDEARIsAFDHFewdV184Quhy2YlgLDlfe4f1KSe-InDxrhKWMnKXZr5t6XccBhcaXKwaAnS7EALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
