38SC Loads

I'm using an older SVI IMM with two popple holes.  Accurate 7, 9.4 grains, Zero 125 grain JHP, CCI Small rifle primer.  1.230 OAL  175PF.

What I've discovered is that different guns will have wildly different power factors with exactly the same information.  If you don't own a chronograph, you're going to need one right away.

Getting into 38SC   Can you share your load data for 115s and 124s.

One of the big advantages of .38 SC is that you can pour enough powder into

the case to take advantage of the 115's (more gas) .

Be a shame to have to pick up all that brass, and still be stuck with 124's.   IMHO.   :)

10gr AA#7 with Blue Bullet 125gr TC @ 1.1240”. 170PF our of 5” SV Hybrid barrel with 4 popple holes. Also tried 3N38.  At 170PF, both shoot and feel exactly the same. AA#7 is dirtier but it’s easier to load, cheaper, less spillage and easier to get.

Nice have you tried 115s?
