Production trigger weight?

I always shot production with a Johnny glock trigger at 2 pounds and I've never ben sent home for it. Now it's been awhile from the last time I shot production but I dont think there is a trigger weight limit in production.

Was watching a YouTube video and the shooter was going over their Glock 34 Production gun. Dawson sights and a Glockworks trigger at 3.5lbs. I thought only DA/SA triggers could be under 5lbs after the first pull.

Not a USPSA rule, maybe IPSC?

I think up until just recently the IPSC Prod rule was a 5lbs first pull. This was a marked disadvantage for striker guns. I believe this has now been lowered for striker fired guns.

USPSA has never had trigger pull weight requirements in Prod.

Well, we sort of did. The original draft of the 2014 rule book added a trigger weight restriction to production. I think it was something like a four pound first pull. It was removed before the rules went into effect after folks with Apexed M&Ps had a cow.
