AzShooter
Volquartsen recently announce their new holster for the Scorpion and Mamba pistols. I ordered one so I could have my Mamba on my hip instead of having to use a bag during Steel Challenge Matches. The fit is tight and works great with the 4.5 in barrel. With my 6 inch the compensator stick out past the end of the holster but fit and finish are superb. IPSCLUVERRR
Why have it in a holster and not in a bag? I have seen so many issues with holstered pistols at steel matches, guns become too dusty or falling out. Not worth it, especially when you can bring your bag to the line with you. AzShooter
For me, in a wheelchair, it's easier to carry my stuff on the belt than to carry a bag. It's harder to handle and there are no tables at the range to put the bag on.
Sigarmsp226
AzShooter - Thanks for sharing this photo and information. Having just purchased this model Scorpion I too want a holster since I am usually an RO and want to shoot in the match. This will save time....Mark
perttime
Steel Challenge allows a RO to have a holstered handgun? I usually play by IPSC rules, and there a RO cannot have a handgun on himself/herself. I've understood the reasoning is that the RO dropping the gun (for example) would sevely detract from the main duty of ensuring the stage is run safely and smoothly. Mban2
I am going to have to take a look at this... can you crank down the retention?

Yes, you can change the tension with the screws. I had to adjust mine.
