ATMester
If Sevigny never had that GLOCK scandal we would have a clear answer regarding to plastic vs steel guns. Life would be easier ... Edited December 18, 2019 by ATMester

Schutzenmeister
I suspect this is in reference to the World Shoot in Ecuador. Although, it might refer to the time when another Glock shooter faced felony charges ... Not sure which.

admcd
Absolutely competitive in Production. It's the archer not the arrow. Or put a slide with a red dot on it and be like all the other cool kids in CO. Lots of flexibility on that platform.
gmshtr
I love my Glock 17...nearly won the Production Nationals in Tulsa with it, but malfunctions cost me. It just didn't like 147gr Berry's bullets. With that said, shooting my G17 next to my X5 Legion isn't a fair comparison. Anyone considering Production division, pay the extra $300 and get an X5 Legion...you won't be sorry. Although, I may be a smidge biased.
bimmer1980
Glock 17 is a no-brainer for production. Put in a good Trigger (if you like) and you have a flat and fast shooting and even faster transitioning gun. If you don´t get the grip and/or technique right, you have a much easier life with a steel gun, no question. But almost all the good shooters can shoot glocks fine. It´s not only Vogel. A fried of mine just switched from a CZ75 to a Glock17 gen5, and shoots better with it. It realy depends on the person. For me it would take some time to get used to the grip angle and the trigger, but i´m pretty sure it´s just a training thing.
