X5 rear sight?

Recommended Posts

For my eyesight, glasses and preference the rear notch of my X5 Legion is too shallow. And it causes me problems. I'm new to the platform, are there any other rear sight options for this model?

Hello: Can you cut the notch deeper on the Legion rear sight? Have you looked into monovision glasses? Thanks, Eric

No optics just yet, thanks.

I already have a separate prescription for shooting as I need tri focals to function in real life.

So rather than answering off topic, are there other rear sightsight options?

If not I will mill it.

Kind of a goofy option, but there are dot mount plates with BUIS dovetails on them I think.  You could then put whatever in there.

You might try asking Dawson if they do a taller rear for the Legion.  They did the original X5 sights.

I don't know any of the guys at Dawson, so I just sent them an email through the website contact. We'll see what they say.....

Send me a rear and let me know how much deeper you want it. ;)
