Snowman50
I’m trying to decide if it’s better to get a G17 gen 5 and have it milled for a Holosun 507c optic, or buy the mos version. I have read that having it custom milled would provide for for better fit and lower fit to slide.
Yagi
i would go with MOS
jerseyglock
MOS is cheaper than custom milled work.

Worth the $80 just to have the option to mount an optic (which I don't currently have on any of my blasters.)

Paul49
The MOS will allow you to decide which optic you prefer and then you may proceed with milling for that optic.
11MM
I have a 17 MOS and do not see a single benefit to machined over the MOS. As stated in another post, strip a screw, just replace the MOS. Strip a screw in a machined slide and you are out of luck.
