twister
What parts do I need to order to convert my Shadow 2 to single action? I want to get the nicest possible action possible. Thanks for your help, Dave.
yigal
SA trigger with shape that u want. lighter trigger spring lighter sear spring don't forget to remove disco/bolo part from the hammer. and gunsmith polish work for best results.
M1A4ME
The right hammer also helps. I've not used a hammer from CZ Custom (they are supposed to be nice/good, too) but I've used a couple/three from Cajun Gun Works. The depth/shape/finish of the hammer hooks contributes to the distance the trigger moves before the sear releases the hammer and the amount of force required to get it to move far enough. If you replace the hammer with a nicer one you will probably need to either buy an adjustable sear from CGW or modify your safety (the cam on the left side safety shaft that fits under the forward arm of the sear) to work as the hammers with shorter hooks usually set the sear arm a little farther forward/down. Believe me when I tell you buying the adjustable sear is a lot easier than modifying the safety cam. I did that once, after that I just buy the CGW adjustable sears. 11MM
This might not apply to what you are doing with the gun, but does going single action only change the gun from Production to Limited?
twister
I think it does. I have a TSO in 9mm, but I like the weight and grip of the Shadow 2 better. I bought the gun to be a range gun, didn’t have any plans to compete with it, just shooting it for fun. Edited August 13, 2019 by twister
