RMR 115gr MatchWinner

Recommended Posts

Is anyone using the RMR 115gr mini MatchWinner in 9mm?  I’d be interested to see how they’re working out for you if you’ve shot them.

I'd guess very few people shoot 115gr. 9mm bullets on this forum.  That said RMR makes really good stuff I'm sure they'll be fine.

124 and 147 are probably more popular.

There are some hearty souls who use 115's for OPEN MAJOR.

Have you tried the 124's ?   Are you shooting Minor or Major ?

Danny Wisner (former owner of Atlanta Arms and Ammo)  once told me that a lot of Steel Challenge shooters use 115 grain bullets because they factor in flight time in SC.  Before I converted my press to 9mm, I shot thousands of rounds of Blaser Brass 115 grain ammo.  It was great.  I'm sure RMR is pretty similar to it.

I’d be loading them to a warm minor PF 135ish just for general range ammo.  And yes I’m currently loading the 124 MW’s.  But both sons and my wife like killing paper targets and the 115’s are just a way to shave a few bucks off here and there.

That used to be true when the stop plate had a sensor on it.

I love the 124gr match winner, and I am sure the 115 is awesome as well.
