verla Posted July 28, 2019 Share Posted July 28, 2019 If you have a tendency to put your thumb, etc on the slide you may want to consider ambi swensons- they have a "thumb shield" on the safety "catch" that you can rest your thumb on and it does not touch the slide to slow it down from cycling. They are more expensive than conventional ambi safties and require more time to install. I have used them for years on my open gun. Try Brownells or Dawson Precision to buy them.
