TK Hammer SW 929 question.

Has anyone bought a TK hammer and when I install it I can’t tighten the side plate. If I tighten the side plate I can’t pull the trigger and if I can get the trigger to pull the hammer and trigger completely lock up.

Sounds to me like the aftermarket hammer is not the problem but you are installing something incorrectly.

 

Did you take anything else out besides the hammer? Did you fit the sear to the hammer and check to see it functioned?

 

Can you post a picture of the internals of the revolver.

Are there side plate shims installed?

Sorry can’t download the picture. Talk to TK and they said to send it in and they will machine it to fit. Crazy!
