Paul-the new guy
I am loading MG 124jhp’s over 4.2 grains of N-320 using CCI 500 primers and I ran out of the MG’s I have a couple thousand precision delta 124’s think it would be cool to just swap the projectiles? Don’t have time to work up something new...
Sandbagger123
having used both i found MG slower than PD with the same load so you might get a kick in velocity. the bullet shapes on the 124 jhp are so close between both of them i would call them interchangable
Paul-the new guy
Thanks, They do look the same. The HP looks different but that’s it.
echotango
My experience was opposite of sandbaggers. MG's were faster in both my barrels, but not by much. Edited July 19, 2019 by echotango

OptimiStick
I chrono'd 147gr FP MG's and FP PD's - PD's avg was 883.36 fps , MG avg was 844.39 fps. Both at 1.1560 OAL, and 3.5gr of VV n320 - at 81F degrees. Out of 5" KKM barrel.

Oddly, the same is true for me. The PD were slower than MG out of my Open guns by about .2 grains of WAC
