TobiasSweden
I have a 1976 Tanfoglio P19 Combat and wonder what recoil spring weight would be proper. This gun's specs differ from the ones I can find for later Combat models on the internet. For example, the gun weighs 950 grams instead of 1150. MikeBurgess
I would be willing to bet that it uses the same recoil spring as a modern Tanfoglio or CZ of similar barrel length. I would be very surprised if they made a verid recoil system when they started out copying the CZ75.
TobiasSweden
Thanks MikeBurgess. I've been having feeding problems for a while and thought it may be due to a heavy recoil spring. I've been using one that is actually specified for a longer barrel than mine. However, today I swapped it for one that is specified for my barrel length – and the problems only got worse! So I will change back to that longer spring and try to figure out what else may be causing the feeding problems.
