tbarker13
Has anyone mounted an SRO on a Shadow II yet for CO? Looks like the SRO weighs a little less than a DPP (1.6 oz vs. 1.9 oz). Just wondering how much weight reduction has to happen to keep the S2 legal with the SRO. I'm about to work on a new CO setup with the SRO. At this time, I'm planning to use a Bull Shadow - just to avoid having to have the frame cut to make weight as was required with the DPP.
Wrecks
Keep in mind that the Bull Shadow with the SP01 frame (full length dust cover) isn't production legal so you'll have to use the cz75 short/standard frame if you want to use this in CO. Right. I got the one with the short dust cover. But thanks for the heads-up. That would have been an expensive CO mistake.
Wrecks
Also to be more to the point with your thread topic, if you get the slide milled with some cuts up front or what Primary Machine does you won't have any problems with SRO weight and won't have to sacrifice anything except maybe the stock grips (which are doo doo anyway). hawaiifivebro
Whenever I can get another extractor ordered (seems like everyone is sold out), I'll be testing my primary machine milled slide out with the 2.5 moa SRO I got for it, probably doesn't help but yeah, eventually I'll get some trigger time in. From what I was told, it's supposed to make weight, won't know until everything comes in to be sure though. hawaiifivebro
Anyone want to make a small profit on a spare extractor haha?
tbarker13
Decided to just go ahead and have my Bull Shadow milled for my SRO. It will end up being a few ounces lighter than an S2, but I won't have to be careful about which grips I pick, etc.
