Red dot SCREW STRIPPED?

Just wanted to share maybe it’ll be helpful for some people that shoot dots.  I figured this out a few years ago when my RMR screws on my Glock got stripped.
(Note: I bought this as is)
1. Pretty much carefully drill it slightly.
2. Find a torx bit that is a bit oversize from the hole you drilled.
3. Slightly hammer the bit into it.
4. Remove with 1/4” ratchet for best leverage.

Same thing happened to one of my red dots. Ended up just drilling the screw head out til it snapped. And then used pliers to remove the rest of the screw from mount. I’ve tried using those screw extractor bits. I’ve followed all video instructions but they seem to not work for me

This happened to me last month! Made me so mad. Took it to my shop and got it out in seconds with a better quality tool. Mine was worn down enough to cause it with a cheap screw. All better now and replaced screws with quality ones.
