USPSA : Fluted/Dimped Barrels in Production/Carry Optics?

I thought this used to sound like flutes or dimples in the barrel were illegal, but looking the rule it only specifies slide contour. It doesn't say anything about barrel weight or fluting. Did something change or did my reading comprehension change?

Dang, is there a changelog somewhere? Hard to follow what all has changed.

The changelog is sadly not a complete list of changes to the rules.  In the future I suggested they use a tracking tool of which the IT guys should have several.
