Dazhi
Does anyone have milled slide to install Trijicon RMR or SRO? I was told the screw spacing on the RMR footprint is too wide for the Stock 2 slide. Does that leave the adapter plate as the only option? I am curious to see anyone running RMR or SRO on their Stock 2s.
johnbu
I also heard adaptor plate in a dove tail mount was the only option.
Dazhi
I found this, and looks like another option. I have slides cut for Venom, and not sure if this works... Anyone has tried it? https://www.tombstonetactical.com/catalog/trijicon/rm37-rmr-adapter-plate-for-doctor-mount/

Dazhi
Yes I bought this adapter, and returned it, because of 2 reasons: 1. It does not really fit the Venom cut as the plate itself has some kind of angle on the edges, making the base of the plate longer than the venom cut. You will have to lengthen the cut on the slide to fit the plate. 2. The plate is not flat. When I put SRO on the plate, it has huge gaps in between. I called Trijicon and they said it's normal. I guess it may be but I don't like it. It's not just some lights going through. It's like 2 or 3 contact points then everywhere else are gaps. shred
I use dovetail plates. They don't look as cool, but they're as fast on the clock.
Bwenning
I put one one an S3, no issues. Plenty of room for the screws.

Bwenning
Unfortunately can't make it this weekend, I am going to shoot it in the pm session at mrpc the following weekend. It will be my first attempt with a dot, should be interesting.
