40sw 200gr loads for glock 35

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I have searched on here and I can’t find a lot of load data for 200gr loads for short oal (my glock 35) I know there is some load data published, but I just got some 200gr sample packs in to try, and I would like a good average starting place. I have titegroup, n320, and sport pistol on hand.

Can you guys give me some loads with these powders that will make major pf? I know about bullet set back and kabooms, that’s why I am asking all the people that do this a lot.

4.0-4.2gr of N320 over a 200gr coated @1.130-1.135 should put you pretty close. Start a bit low and work the load up but it should give you a good ballpark.

Thanks  Novashooter!  Do you have any load data for titegroup?

Try between 3.5 and 3.8gr or Titegroup at 1.135. I shot 3.7 under a 200gr Precision out of an older G35 and it did around 171pf as I recall. That was with a Barsto barrel. At any rate, it shot very well.

I have both bayou and blue bullet 200grers on hand. I am using the factory barrel as well.

I wound up with some 200s once & never got comfortable loading them for my glock.  Just too much bullet in my opinion so I am no help at all.  Lol

Never trusted 200 in my Glock .

then I know a master shooter that’s been shooting a  glock with lead and coated bullets for years.

but that was just me,

Working on a load with Sport Pistol and 200 Gr Bayous OAL 1.12-1.13 for my backup M&P 40 5".  I'm starting at 3.6 g of Sport Pistol recommended by Bayou rep.  Should get me over 170 PF.  More to come hopefully soon.
