Chills1994
Yeah...yeah. ... you're not gonna find a 13/16ths by 20 tpi nut at Home Depot or Lowe's. O'Reilly auto parts has them as this part number: And supposedly NAPA auto parts has them too: Edited June 16, 2019 by Chills1994
Chills1994
at O'Reilly has them for 3 bucks and change vs. Dillon's 5 bucks each. If you buy trim dies, each extra trim die that you buy, does NOT come with a jam nut.
Chills1994
Drilled and tapped the first 5 I bought from O'Reilly's:
Chills1994
Screwed the jam nut onto the trim die. Inserted a piece of lead bird shot into the tapped hole. Then screwed in a 10X32 set screw... to mash the birdshot into the die's threads to pretty much lock the jam nut onto the die__ So once I get set up for say .300 blackout I should be able to move the trimmer back to the .223 toolhead with some repeatability as far as COAL.
