New to coated bullets. “Blue bullets” ? or “Black bullets” ?

Is your seater putting that ring on the bullet or did they come that way.  I know for range fodder it really doesn't matter but was curious...

I use Blue Bullets 230's for 45acp and am Very Well Pleased with them.

For .38 special I use Bayou 160's.  I sure wish that Blue made something comparable but without the groove.

I’ve shot blues for a few years now and they have always been great. They are really awesome for short chamber guns like CZ and tanfo. The 135tc and 125tc are great for these guns since they allow you to load longer. You guys can use code (moser) for a 5% discount if you want to try them.

I have used most of the bullets listed here and ACME are my favorite. The also feed the best through my bullet feeder and....they don’t turn my fingers blue.
