Previewing stages at a level 2 match

They build stages right before the match, so if you get there more than about an hour early there will not be anything to see, but it is a good chance to meet people and any help is always appreciated.

I always stick around and help break down but I do want to get out early and help set up just because it’s the right thing to do

During the the match I have heard CRO/RO tell the waiting squad not to walk the stage while a squad is shooting. 

 

It’s just common courtesy to squad shooting and the on deck shooter to walk the stage while being reset. 

 

If my squad has to wait on a squad to finish shooting a complicated stage,  I grab a roll of tape and go help reset rather than lounging around waiting.  I make sure that I don't get in the way of the on deck shooter, but I also make sure that I get a good look at the stage, how the steel is set, etc....while I'm taping targets and setting steel.
