SDM Super Sight vs Dawson Fiber Optic?

Just checked the SDM website for the S&W 0.250 green sight I purchased in 2014 and the price has not increased in 6 years.  Still $35.  Way to go SDM.

IIRC, SDM uses .060" fiber and Dawson uses .040" fiber.  I got rid of every Dawson sight on my 1911s due to the smaller diameter fiber rod.  For ICORE, USPSA & Steel I prefer the larger diameter fiber for my aging eyes.
