PT Evo mag relase

I recently put a PT Evo grip on my 2011. I reused my mag relase from my previous grip which was a STI polymer grip.  When I installed my mag release button it hits on the frame. It also is recessed in the grip on the opposite side of the release button quite a bit more than when installed in the stock grip. Anyone out there have a reccomendation? It there a longer mag release?

Same here and it works with SV, STI, and MBX tubes.

we (wife and I both) found we didn't need a button with the evo grip, due to the slimmer front to back profile. One thing I found with the posilock mag release is that it extends further forward inside the magazine than (for example) a stock STI mag release. Ours were catching on the followers from time to time, so i trimmed down the front part of the shelf where it pokes into the magazine so it looked more like my STI mag release that doesn't catch on followers (or bullet noses).

They led you on the right path. Dawson  mag release drops in all my Pt Evo grips without modification and the posilock feature is excellent. All I ever use!
