JP Ultralight Aluminum Barrel

Recommended Posts

Why is no handguard not an option with the BSF barrel? Isn’t that carbon shroud a handguard of sorts with the actual barrel contained inside that shroud? Maybe I’m just not understanding that barrel.

Did Ben shave right after the opening...?  😋

Yes, and we called him a traitor for abandoning his beard.

I am wondering about how accurate they are compared to the original barrel.  Seems they are after all a 5 inch barrel.  I realize at 10 to 20 yards it doesn't matter but at longer distances?

Thanks for your insight and help!

I haven't seen any difference in accuracy at 25 yards with a red dot.

Just bought an ultralight ready rifle. Using the same load I'm seeing less PF from the rifle than what I'm getting from my Glock 17. Is that normal? I would think it's the other way around.

Also how big of a difference in recoil can I get by tuning the SCS? Mine is short stroke with 5 stainless weights. I mostly shoot 124gr factory load that gives me 129PF. Any chance that adding weight to the SCS would tame the recoil?
