Help me with this part on my CZ Shadow 2

Recommended Posts

Can someone tell me what this part is?  Is it the hammer retainer pin?   I’m assuming it is but can’t find a good picture of it. I can’t fit it in that little hole as well.  I’m kind of stuck.  :)  I’m a Glock guy coming over to CZ’s.  :)   Thanks!

Are you sure it came out of the shadow 2?

That part is #4. Slide Stop Spring Pin.

Thats right. A part that virtually never gets removed.

Pretty sure it’s #4, slide stop spring pin. It’s tapered on one end to aid insertion.

I never even take that spring/pin out unless I'm modifying the frame to install a CZ85 set of slide release levers.

Urmaker45, that is an excellent resource, thank you.

  - It is particularly helpful because when I last checked 2-4 weeks ago, the only official Armorer’s Manual sold by CZ-USA for the CZ75 is for the Decocker model.

  - On a related note, a CZ Armorer class seems very difficult to find, buried several layers deep in a seldom used part of the website, and my perception is that they are for LE or Military only.   Does anyone know anything different? Am I correct or mistakesn?
