XDM 5.25 slide issue

Recommended Posts

When inserting a new mag from slide lock, occasionally my slide will fall. While not a problem in competition, does worry me little during practice or range fun. Do see some slight wear below feed ramp as well. Any advice appreciated.

Mine does as well, especially when I slam a mag in during competition.  I personally don't have a problem with it. Also, I've been known to ride my slide some as well.

“Occasionally “ during competition is not a good thing. You either want the slide to auto forward 100% of the time or not at all. When you get used to it falling in matches and then it doesn’t it sucks.

I agree, but with my "occasionally" gun I just run it as if the slide was never going to go forward. If I was shooting a slide lock sport maybe it would be a thing worth fixing though.
