twister
I have a chance to buy a nice used Glock 34, and wanted to know if it was legal to shoot in IDPA? Thanks, Dave. Edited April 14, 2019 by twister

Thanks, Dave. Yes. They are SSP and ESP legal. A great choice, too.

twister
Luckily it already has Taran sights on it, I will be needing a trigger for it. Thanks for the help.
dapribek
Another option for a trigger is a Johnny Glock. You’ll be happy with either choice.
9x45
If you have never shot an IDPA match before, let alone any competition, then an aftermarket trigger or sights will make no difference. What you need is the fundamentals: stance, grip, sight picture and trigger control. Any, and all Glock models, are legal for SSP in IDPA. Except the 17L as it won't fit in the box It's 9.57 inches long and the box is 8 3/4 long. Edited May 8, 2019 by extremist
Jim Watson
And not the ones with superfluous holes in the barrel. But I know numerous people competing IDPA SSP and USPSA Prod with G34s. Edited May 8, 2019 by Jim Watson

davidb72
Yes, a Glock 34 is fine for IDPA.
et45
Yes it is but don’t be surprised if you prefer the 17 for IDPA distances.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Jamese35
My IDPA gun is a Glock 34 with a Johnny Glock trigger, Vogel dynamic sights, and a 11 pound ismi recoil spring. The gun just runs and runs.
