I have just never done any type of competition shooting. In those 20 years, how many times have you drawn a loaded pistol from a holster and run around with it loaded in your hands? Most people's "20 years of shooting experience" (including those in the military) have very little of those two skills, particularly the moving with a loaded gun in your hands part. I get that you're aware of the dangers and plan to take it slow, which is great. Just be mindful that the sound of a shot timer makes new shooters' brains melt. Right that’s what I meant by I’ve never done any type competition shooting. It’s a whole new world. Which is why I’m getting all the advice and help I can. I’m very skilled in muzzle direction, running around with a loaded firearm, typical military tactics. But we never really trained with handguns. Most of my handgun experience is just range shooting until recently.

Are these available free on the internet or do I have to pay for his program?

nikdanja
Check out stoeger books. They have a little routine planned out in the back. Best thing though is to handle the gun for a AM AND PM session tho.
