blue edge
Side by Sides or UTVS, Who has them ? What Can you tell me, the good and Bad? I was looking at the Polaris Rangers, then I saw SO many BAD reviews and Major failures. I started looking at the Kawasaki Mule Pro. Thanks Kevin
Jmo2011
I’ve been very happy with my gator xuv. It’s not the fastest out there but it’s a workhorse around the house. It’s been trouble free for 600 hours , just regular maintenance.
blue edge
The Gator looks really good on paper. Is yours 2x4 or 4x4
Acer2428
What are you going to use it for? That's really the biggest question IMO. Rangers/RZR's also WAY outsell anything else out there, parts availability is huge, maintenance is relatively easy (former Can Am owner). Owned two RZR's, one 900S and an XP Turbo. blue edge
I plan to use it on my property. Odd jobs pull trash down to the road for pick up. Also it is legal to drive these on all county roads From what I have seen, The Rangers have a lot of failures. The Mules are in for the long haul I was really wanting to know what others have seen good or bad.
IHAVEGAS
My Polaris Ranger was flimsy compared to what I was used to. Buying again it would be the Mule or a Honda or Yamaha.
Acer2428
Honda is going to be the winner for work/ranch stuff. Shaft drive, auto trans (non-cvt) and Honda reliability. That said, it's also generally the most expensive. You pay for the JD name w/ the Gator.
rubern
I love my Honda Pioneer 500. It is very reliable and has a real gear box. Some atv accessories I installed on it include a winch, roof, rear rack and skid plates. The only con I can say is that the seats are not so comfortable.
