ThisIsMyBoomStick
I did a complete detail strip today and found this: The gun is a Gen 1 with over 10,000 rounds through it. Luckily I had a spare bolt that I ordered from Sig last year. Edited April 2, 2019 by ThisIsMyBoomStick Link to comment
George16
Call Sig’s CS, let them know and see if they’ll send you a replacement bolt. Link to comment
Gregg K
I would be shocked if Sig didn't take care of this. 10K is nothing, the bolt should never crack. Sig will want to see this. Does this continue around to the face of the bolt. I can't tell from the picture if it's an actual crack. Link to comment
Nathanb
I had the same issue. Sig took care of it. Now if I could just get it to run after the fixed ti Link to comment
Tampa-XD45
Looks like all MPX owners should check for this. In this sigtalk thread a shooter's gun arrived with a cracked bolt before he had a chance to shoot it: https://sigtalk.com/sig-sauer-rifles/255994-mpx-bolt-issues.html Sig sent him a new bolt. I'm not a member on that forum so I can't see the pictures. Link to comment
ThisIsMyBoomStick
The crack does not continue to the bolt face: I'll give Sig a call to see if they will replace it. Link to comment
