phil plesetz
Does a Tanfo Gold Team have a magazine disconnect safety? Thanks,
phil plesetz
I guess i may have answered my own question. Installed a Henning short reach trigger for the wife and adjusted out some of the over-travel, and even though the hammer falls, I may have went to far. The gun will not fire. anyone have experience with this?
Mlussoro
Sound like it’s falling to half cocked position, and your pre travel over travel screws aren’t adjusted correctly the short reach can hit frame not letting sear release enough to drop hammer fully
ATLDave
No mag disconnect. As you are now realizing, getting a little too aggressive with taking out either over or pre travel on the Tanfos will give you problems. They don't require a lot of either, but they definitely require a little.
jcc7x7
Is your firing pin safety still in the gun? If so is your lifter moving out of the way to allow the fp to move forward.
phil plesetz
i put back some of the over-travel I removed and all is well. Didn't realize if the sear hammer disengagement the gun wouldn't fire.
