Which recoil system for MPX SBR?

I currently have a foldable 1-piece stock on my SBRd MPX. I want to get a Thordsen picatinny buffer tube adapter to install a standard stock (Mission first tactical min or Magpul CTR).

This being said, do I need a recoil system? (JP 9mm Silent captured spring, buffer spring)

No. The MPX recoil system is in the upper.

You won’t need any springs in the buffer tube. The MPX has a plastic pad inside the upper that acts as a recoil pad. The  buffer tube will be empty and will just be there as a mounting point for your stock.

 

I did remove the stock orange recoil pad installed a Taccom wave spring recoil pad.

Was there a actual difference detected in the Tacom Wave Spring when installed ?
