Moonclip holder (on your belt) recommendations (627)

Recommended Posts

+ 1 for the server as you never have to look down as your clips always come from the same place. Saves time while reloading on the move. Get two tall single post North Mountain to put next to the server to use for off the table loads

How heavy is the speedy rack?
It's probably a bit heavier, but I don't notice any difference when I wear it.

What are your guys thoughts on the moon clip server as I am thinking very seriously about purchasing one as I am starting to build a rig for my 625
It works for 6 and 8 shot guns with no changes. This was one of the reasons I chose it. 2 guns, one rig

PatJones Sir what do you use for a holster if you don’t mind me asking?
Kydex on an adjustable holster hangar.

Bladetech or what brand are you using?

Bladetech, though I'd order one thru Speedbeez if I had to replace it.

I use the one made by 10mmdave.  It works well for me.  It holds 8 and the holders can be tightened or loosened by the screws.

I haven't tried, but yes, it probably would be.

Easier than a Server I'd bet.   lol

That is why you have 2 single North Mountain post along with your server for those table loads.

I currently use a North Mountain moonclip holder, but keep thinking about selling it and buying the Double Alpha magnetic holder. It seems that our local USPSA match usually features 1 or 2 stages where the shooter must start with all moonclips on the top of the barrels. The Double Alpha gives an advantage on these stages.

Actually, the North Mountain with plastic spacers on the posts allows you to quickly load 4 moons off barrels.  Check it out:
