echotango
Anyone else having lock up issues with a lighter recoil spring? When cocked, it comes out of battery really easy. I can shake the gun back and forth and move the slide. Edited March 12, 2019 by echotango
metricgoods
how light is the recoil spring? My plastic q5s/PPQs have similar "issues", so I use 13lb Glock recoil spring now. No issues anymore.... Edited March 12, 2019 by metricgoods
echotango
It does it with a 13#. But I guess it is normal.
himurax13
Memphis Mechanic stated that this is normal with most striker fire pistols with stock striker springs couples with lighter recoil springs.

highhope
yes, I think this is normal.. but what lighter striker spring can you use for Q5 or Q5sf?
echotango
An m&p striker spring fits. Stock m&p is 5#. I believe the stock walther is 6.5-7#. Test fired it today with WSP and it worked fine. And it took care of the loose slop when cocked. Edited March 14, 2019 by echotango
