xdf3
18. Aftermarket parts, components and accessories are prohibited, except as follows: 18.4 Aftermarket springs and trigger assemblies are permitted. What does that mean? Which parts can be changed? Sear, sear spring, disconnector, etc...? How to be 100% sure of what can be changed and what not in this case?

shred
Seems to me the intent of the rule was to get away from the longtime "don't-ask-don't-tell" that went on around springs and polishing internal parts and just go with "does it pass the trigger pull test or not?", which is both way easier to enforce and way easier to implement. But then again, I'm not IPSC...
xdf3
Anybody else? Or is there any better way I can find out?
ian_ross18
You can ask some local CRO/RO's. Depends on the gun your using. I've been told to take the rule at face value. To me "trigger assembly" includes all the parts that require the trigger to function. As for spring, any spring is game, but one cant change guide rods or anything like that unless its OEM. Hope this helps.
