TRUBL
Yamil Sued did a video showing the TACCOM ULW Hand guard for the Ruger PC Carbine......what he didn't mention is the brake that he is using is also from the same company......all in all.....it looks to shoot flat and the hold looks nice too. IronicTwitch
Yes! The PC Carbine feels front heavy to me. This is something I may try out! Link to comment
DesertTortoise
Just got mine in. This handguard takes 1/4 lb off the front end of the gun and gives much more control Link to comment
mwx40x40
Be cool to have one these for the 10/22 take down as well Link to comment
Cuz
Does anyone know of a front hand stop that will attach to the taccom hand guard sling swivel stud? Or in place of the stud? I got the hand guard without slots. Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Link to comment
jrdoran
I would think with some minor tweaks this could be made to work. I put grip tape on mine and it helped alot. https://www.wingtactical.com/firearm-parts/ar-15/grips-foregrips/foregrips/impact-weapons-components-m-lok-hand-stop/ Link to comment
TRUBL
The Ruger Hand Guard that TACCOM sells, has MLOCK slots.......any rail sections or attachments that are made for MLOCK slots will work with the TACCOM Ruger HG. Link to comment

I have the TACCOM handguard that doesn't have any slots. All it has is the hole for the sling swivel stud. Link to comment
Cuz
Problem solved. I had a Magpul 4 piece handguard that had one short piece with one hole. I filed down the m-lol nubs so it sits flush on the hand guard and used the regular screw that came with the hand guard. I think it will work perfectly. Cuz
Yeah, I was so excited when you came out with it I ordered it as soon as possible. It’s a great hand guard. But I now see the advantage of the slots to mount something to keep me from extending my hand past the guard and onto the barrel. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Link to comment
edyan
I got one of the early carbon fibre ones with the slots & the ergonomics makes a big difference in the handling, the other ones actually make the carbine heavier. Link to comment
Cuz
Um, I don’t think there’s that much of a weight difference between the model with slots and without. There aren’t that many slots cut out of it...Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Link to comment
jrdoran
For real lightweight, I removed my CF handguard and saved 3oz upfront with this approach. Link to comment
Cuz
I can’t quite figure out what you did. I wasn’t really looking for the lightest weight. I wanted a hand guard that covered more of the barrel. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Link to comment
edyan
I didn't mean the one with slots was lighter than the one without them... I was comparing it to Ruger's or the other metal ones. Link to comment
