Hi all,

I'm about to bite the bullet and buy GG&G's oversized bolt release, but I really like the looks of the on pictured in this old thread.  It's in the fifth post, by "121":

Does anybody know what that is?

There are some other options these days at very nice prices:

https://tarantacticalinnovations.com/the-store/shotgun/benelli-m2/new-category-1/

https://www.briley.com/c-436-bolt-release-lever-kits.aspx

To answer your question, I don't recall the button in the pic you linked.

Thanks, guys...  I've seen those others, and none of them appeal to me as much as the one I pictured.

As a fall-back, I can get the GG&G from Brownells for $85ish (dealer pricing and $10 off), and I like the idea of having a spare carrier latch and not needing to drill/tap my own carrier latch.

OK, nevermind...  I decided that I realllly like the old round Nordic button best, and Midway had them on sale ($10!), so I bought a couple.  Even with a spare carrier latch (also on sale at Midway), I was out the door for <$50.

Have someone checker the Nordic button and that would be darn close. I would think a 20 line per inch file would be about right. The shotgun pictured isn't a Benelli, and I have no idea who made that button .

I think that shotgun in the photo is a Benelli M4...

Anyway, the Nordic buttons arrived, along with my Irwin drill bit and tap ($3.49 from Amazon!), and I tapped the spare carrier latch.  Easy.

The Nordic buttons will be fine, as is, I think.  If not, then I'll do something to them...

Now I'm a machinist...
