JakeG
When entering to open a door keep your gun high!! DQ if your low! Thank god it was my last stage at my first sectional match!
ChuckS
And also make sure to unlatch the door before trying to go through!
rojo1911
Doors always give me heartburn at a match. We just had a level III match last weekend and had a stage with 4 doors. The shooter before me DQ'ed by having his gun too low when opening the first one.
Hi-Power Jack
When going thru a door, the gun is much more important than speed. Where is the muzzle ? Where is the muzzle ? Open the door, but watch the muzzle
gunguru
And if you decide to use your feet to block the door open, make sure to not touch the ground past the fault line and get a "significant advantage"... especialy on a 3 rounds per target stage. elguapo
Can you tactically kick the door open?

920webb
I always try to keep my gun shoulder high when I'm moving from position to position to keep an eye on the muzzle . Never been to hurry to go thru door would rather be safe . I recommend a little practice when you are walking a stage on how you are going to open the door and where your gun should be . TacticalG34Tupperware
The guys saying keep the gun high are correct for more than one reason, first for safety so as to not to flag yourself, but also for speed. If you enter a position with the gun high you will have less distance to cover with your hands to get the gun back to your eyes and the target.
