jmtyndall
Looks like in going to be able to get some practice time at a local indoor range Monday. Won't have time to chrono and won't be able to chrono at this range. Looking for input from others who shoot a similar combination. Currently have ACME 124gr RN bullets and have plunk tested them at 1.150" in my M&P. Shorter loads are okay, I just want something that's in the right ballpark for an impromptu practice sesh. RAP
My load for 124/125 grain coated Bullets is 3.8 grains of Alliant Sport Pistol, Win or Fiocchi SPP 1.120 OAL. This makes 133 PF out of my CZ P09.Do you have certain powder(s) you’ll be using?Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
chenault
4.3gr N320 and ACME is what I shoot. I load them to 1.15.

BiggMike
Make sure to watch the metering of N320. A few guys on here, as well as myself, have had problem with N320 not metering properly. I load on a 1050.

AzShooter
Close to mine, 4.2 N320 with a 125. I switched to 135 and 3.8 grains. Both loads have an OAL of 1.169. I also use .358 sized bullets. They give me more speed and better accuracy out of my 929.
jmtyndall
Loaded some up at 4.0gr and they felt to be in the right ballpark.I'll post back here my chrono results when I get a chance so they can hopefully help othersSent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
Rcknease
3.9 of N320 at 1.145 feels great in a MPX PCC .
jmtyndall
4.1gr N320 with a 124gr ACME at 1.150" makes 127PF in my gun. Much more accurate than my 147gr Xtreme load. Going to test 4.2 and 4.3gr to see if I can get to the 132-135PF rangeSent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
78Staff
I just ran some loads with the Old version Acme 124g Round Nose - it has a fuller ogive than the new version, so in some barrels it needs to have a shorter OAL to plunk & spin - ie for a M&P 2.0 5" It would need to be 1.06. It's almost Flat Point Portly lol. Acme's new RN profile fixes this, but I have 3K of the old stuff to burn through. Anyway, I setup some up for my Dan Wesson 9mm - 1.14 OAL with P&S's fine in the DW barrel. N320 test loads 3.8 through 4.2. (4.1 is max rec for lead 124 I think), Win SP Primer. Of course, I left my SD card at home so all my data is in the flash memory of the labradar, and I don't know an easy was to export it. But here's the summary... Definitely looking good on the high end - 4.1 seems to be the sweet spot. Makes me think I should have tested another step or two up the ladder, since I'm seeing recommendations for 4.3 here. 3.8 Hi - 1012 Low - 970 Avg - 990 ES - 42 SD - 14.9 3.9 Hi - 1022 Low - 978 Avg - 995 ES - 44 SD - 15.8 4.0 Hi - 1037 Low - 1012 Avg - 1025 ES - 25 SD - 12.3 4.1 Hi - 1077 Low -1063 Avg - 1068 ES - 14 SD - 6.4 4.2 Hi - 1085 Low - 1069 Avg - 1077 ES - 16 SD - 11.2 Edited June 9, 2019 by 78Staff
Eman
1.125-1.130oal 3.7gr-3.8gr. Makes power factor out of glock 34 factory barrel, but you may need 4.0gr To be safe and get good accuracy.
