IDAHOAASHOOTER
Who has a chaos, let's hear what you've landed on. 3n38 would be my first guess, but curious what everyone else found to be their favorite. 38SC

echotango
The OP is asking for 38. Not 9.
Mlussoro
38 super Adam recommends 9.3 3n38 on a 124 jhp , don’t this will make power factor with poppel holes in barrel I’ll load up a few but I’m thinking I’ll be around 9.

BeerBaron
Yeah 3n38 or n105 is the tits in 38sc. I would probably go with a 115gn jhp and somewhere above 10gn of 3n38 at 1.240. Probably start at 9.8gn and see what velocity that gives you. All barrels are a bit different.
Steelix
8.5gr Hs-6 with PD 124gr JHP 1.230 AOL . It's 166 pf Adam said you don't need to run a high PF. I have run it all the way up to 178 PF and keep coming back down. But I only shoot club matchs. Also HS-6 varies buy lot to lot, this is all newer powder. Mikeski
I run 9.8gn of 3n38 under a PD 124 JHP at 1.230 oal. It's flat and loud.
