Flatland Shooter
Picked up a 14-1/2" barrel in January. I have a comp that I really like but installed with a single crush washer its 1/16" too short to be legal. I'm thinking of adding a second crush washer (each 1/8" thick) before I send it out for a pin and weld to get it past the magic 16" number. Is this an acceptable option or should I just find a less desirable but longer comp? Or are there any 1/4" thick washers out there? Thanks. HoMiE
What about using a jam nut and crush washer to get you that extra 1/16”?

I did slip on a jam nut with a crush washer but two crush washers were a bit prettier. Two crush washers seems to do the trick with most of the comp still on threads. Just never saw or heard it being done. Checked and triple checked. Two crush washers get it to 16-1/16". Thanks.
