Remington 1911 needs trigger work

Cylinder and Slide makes some very nice kits; almost totally drop-in. Saves you time, shipping, and gets you more familiar with the internal workings of the gun. Brownells has them, I'm sure others do too.

Extreme engineering is good too and not that expensive. Egw is top shelf. Either of the ones mentioned will get you where you want to be.

Cylinder and Slide look just like Extreme Engineering parts.  Only difference appears to be price and the Brinell hardness test punch marks.

Extreme makes parts for many private labeled name gunsmith parts.  Fyi.

Pretty sure C&S are EE parts.  Did you do your own hardness test?

Nope.  I have dozens of EE sets in service with no issues.  One of my personal guns has upwards of 80k rounds on the original EE parts that I put in it.  Still a safe 1.75 lb trigger.

Just saying I think C&S are over priced EE parts with no functional differences. I use EE parts as well.
