It would depend on how they add the rail to the frame - If it's cut into the profile of the dustcover that would otherwise be there on the Limited Custom, they're subtracting weight. If they add material (in relation to the dustcover on the LC) to create the rail though, then they're making it heavier. You'd have to compare the two frames side by side to be able to tell. One thing the rail does allow for, even if you're running in Limited, is an allowance for mounting of WMLs - Which makes sense as low-light/night matches become more popular Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
