Dane460
I’m fitting an EVO grip to and STI frame but there’s still a hairline gap between the grip and frame above the trigger guard section. Am I doing it wrong or is it like that on all guns that don’t have a PT frame too? Need help
echotango
Then it is not all the way on. Mark it with a black marker and see where it is still keeping it from going on all the way. There should not be a gap. The front grip screw hole will also line up. Edited December 31, 2018 by echotango
36873687
Just take little off in that area of grip. It’s normal area to remove.
theWacoKid
Totally normal. Once the grip is on, it's on. Most guns have that gap.
Posvar
I looked at my PT Evo guns last night and one of them has a very small gap and the rest don't. What Ben said above must be true and he certainly knows much more than I ever will. Matt
