G+16
any of your guys ever have primers (large pistol) from winchester, that just refuse to fit? every once and a while I'll have some that for some resone just won't work, I can change to a new box and everyone of them works, I mean they are cheap enough that it doe'nt really matter, just wondering
pisgahrifle
No, not yet. I've only used about 3000 worth, though, and they were all from the same lot.
TBF
Never had a problem with Win. Large primers. Other than sometimes they won't light with reduced power mainsprings. Only used about 150,000 of them . Travis F.
TriggerT
No problems here. Run into some brass with smaller than normal primer pockets now and then, but never any problems with the primers themselves.

Harmon
are you using sellier and bellot brass, or is your brass military? ie. (wcc 88 orwhatever year) i have had excellent results with federal primers.

dajarrel
Only used about 150,000 of them .Travis F. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Rookie Just kidding. I would say that you have given them a fair test and found them adequate. I've not used anywhere near that many but the thousands I have shot have all loaded very well. Derek45
Decades of no trouble. I throw S&B and Military crimped brass in the trash.
Harmon
also be aware that some kinds of non toxic ammo feature a small pistol primers...others a large, but with a giant flash hole and the primers are super crimped in plus they are laquered to keep moisture out...since most lead free primers are hydroscopic. its such a pain in the ass to even think about trying to mess with that brass that i dont even pick it up. I know i had some brass stamped FC99 that even with the crimp removed you couldnt get a primer in them! i generally only load winchester federal and remington brass...occasionally magtech or cci depending on what i pick up at the range. sellier and bellot arent bad to load IF you take your time and it seems federal primers are easiest to seat in those cases. btw, federal 150s are the shizzle for the 45!
